Centrally located at Sovereign Centre in Liguanea, Jade Gardens is one of Kingston’s popular Chinese restaurants. Elegantly designed, it has a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding area, and offers private rooms. Jade is pricey, and since it opened in the 1990s other Chinese restaurants with fine cuisine have opened their doors. But none are as elegant or even has the space to give each table personal space. Even the bar is a cut above those in other restaurants, and is a great place to meet for drinks after work. Jade offers a bargain takeout menu for lunch on weekdays. But remember to bring cash since they don't take credit cards for the takeout lunch.
